Some projects take months, with endless logo revisions. Others, like Süti, need to launch by Friday. In just three days, we delivered the name, positioning, and brand identity through a focused, collaborative process that set the foundation for a functional brand launched within six months.
The target audience was clear: people who love the design of their iPhone but see phone cases as intrusive. The name “Süti”, meaning “suit” in Swahili, captured the idea of dressing your phone. As it wasn’t a case, we introduced a new descriptor, “the PhoneBack,” which acted as both a label and a call to action, inspiring the tagline “Ditch the case. Get your PhoneBack.”
Built on rigid Swiss design principles, the visual identity used Suisse by Swiss Typefaces for a clean, minimalist tone. Packaging highlighted the product’s slimness with a large logo cut-out for a bold yet refined impression. To streamline production, we visualised materials, colours, and form through detailed 3D renders that defined the light, airy aesthetic across all communications.
